Vintage 1930 MASONRY DEFINED by Johnston from Albert Mackey, Masonic Book Mason. This collectible Masonic book is by E.R. Johnston and according to the Foreward, the book is largely taken from writings of Albert Mackey. It shows only one date, January 11, 1930. It's a hardback hard leather book in excellent condition. The book does not look like it has been used much over the last 100 years. No dog ears and writing other than one or two underlines in black ink. The book has 621 pages. The spine looks excellent and tight and pages are attached the a gold leaf embellishment at the edge of the pages which can be seen when the book is closed. Parts of the book look like it was hardly opened at all. There is some very light very minimal age related wear to the outside edges but this book is in excellent condition - quite remarkable. The book has an attractive design in the front hardback cover and includes four images of the Square and Compass as well as the Torch Bearer with the words "More Light". Great collectible antique vintage historically relevant book.
