Royal Doulton The Captain Figurine HN 2260 Bone China British Naval Officer

Add an elegant piece of classic English pottery craftsmanship to your collection with this exquisite vintage Royal Doulton figurine titled "The Captain" (Model HN 2260). Masterfully modeled by acclaimed artist Mary Nicoll and issued between 1965 and 1982, this fine bone china sculpture depicts an 18th-century British Royal Navy officer standing proudly in a traditional bicorn hat, epauleted black tailcoat, and crisp white trousers. Leaning gracefully against a navigational pedestal console while holding a brass telescope and a rolled sea chart, the figurine is beautifully finished with vibrant hand-painted color details and a rich, brilliant glossy glaze layer. It serves as a commanding statement piece and an absolute must-have addition for collectors of fine English porcelain, nautical decor, or vintage maritime memorabilia.

This collectible porcelain figurine is in excellent vintage pre-owned condition. The structural porcelain body has been pristinely preserved with no chips, cracks, structural breaks, or repairs, and the glossy glaze surfaces show no visible age-appropriate crazing or dulling. The official stamped backstamp remains crisp and completely intact on the underside of the base.
